Call of Duty: World at War Hands On
Call of Duty: World at War is currently in a beta, and we have been lucky enough to play in it. This beta is of the Online game-play and is quite a bit of fun. We played the beta on the PC, however it is also available on the Xbox 360. This is Call of Duty heading back to it’s roots of World War II, with improved graphics.
For Call of Duty: World at War it looks, and feels just like Call of Duty 4. In fact it uses the same exact game engine as COD4. The game has the same leveling system and different rewards now that it is WWII. The beta contains three maps; Castle, Makin and Roundhouse. They are all very different maps, although all are very fun. The game does have its bugs however it is a beta after all! The game has the same seven game-types COD4 had and an extra one called War.
Personally War is my favorite game-type of all of them. It is a base focused game, where you must own a base and to win you take over the most bases. This makes the battles located even more closely and adds a little bit more coordination needed for the game.
In the end this game is a must buy at at least rent, this game is a blast and if you enjoyed COD4 you will love this game!
